What mufflers come on a 2012 PP V6?

My stock mufflers and tips are different from the standard V6. They look just like GT500 mufflers and tips. Anyone know anything about these?

Do the manual mufflers bolt on to an Automatic car? I want the Ford Sport Axlebacls but won't pay $700 for two mufflers. I wont go aftermarket.

Yep, they do. I have an auto and swapped out the mufflers with ones from a manual.

I'm really pleased with it.

I went with Borla, they were over a $100 cheaper and Borla makes the Ford Racing Mufflers, and they do have a 1,000,000 mile warranty

The ford racing mufflers are the best thing out for v6s and totally worth the money.

So are my stockers the same as the Ford Racing mufflers? They did sound decent when they were on but I wanted my car louder so I went with a Dynomax Ultraflo catback.

No, although the manual and auto cars have different mufflers (manuals have better tips and slightly louder I believe) there are by no means equivalent to the ford racing mufflers or performance by any means.

If you just want nicer tips then it may be worth the 50-100 dollars for a pair of stock manual mufflers but if want them to be louder go aftermarket as you will be greatly disappointed.

Pete, like Vig said you can swap them out for for a manual one if you just want a somewhat louder sound. You should be able to pick them up fairly cheap if the guy is local.

Vig...glad you still like them
