Strange noise in the rear

When I go over a bump I hear a kind of rattling noise. If I get out and push down on the car I don't hear anything and nothing in my trunk is moving around what could it be?

I had the same thing happening happening a few months ago and I "believe" that they said it was the rear sway bar making the noise. Bring it in to your dealer they'll know what it is and fix it for free (woohoo warranty)

Also check your mufflers to make sure they're not vibrating around at all

That seems like a lot of miles for a 2013, but I don't think you would need to replace the sway bar. Get it on a lift and have a mechanic check if anything is loose. Could be a bushing or something minor. Could be a loose pan hard bar or brace. There's a lot going on in the rear end. Have it checked out somewhere. Ask someone you know if they have a trusty mechanic.

I've actually went to the dealership and the said it could possibly be a sway bar link but I wanted to know if anyone else had this problem

It is ur rear sway bar. I had the same exact issue after installing stiffer bars. They have to put grease wax or something along those lines. After that it worked fine.

So they just out grease on them and I'll be fine or do they replace parts?

In my case I had upgraded to eibach bars. But I guess the grease or whatever it comes with wasn't "strong" enough. The mechanic uninstalled them, put grease wax, and now no more noise.

No I just went to a local mechanic by where I work. You have to put grease wax instead of the lubricant it came with. I used to push my trunk up and down and could hear this screeching sound or whenever I went over a bump. But now it's gone.
