13-14' cat back on a 12'?

I have a magnaflow cat back on my 2013 v6. Will it work on a 2012?
American Muscle says it wont but without an explanation. Does anyone know why it wouldn't?

+1, along with the different rear valance. You COULD potentially cut the rear valance to accommodate or get a different one and swap out the hangars ( SR has some), but that's a lot of work to jerry rig it.

Maggio,

Sorry about the delay but it's looking like JoeyM91 and Socal beat me to the punch again! This is directly related to the hangers as well as the valence and would need modification. Let me know if you have any questions or feel free to shoot me a PM if there's anything I can help out with!

Alex

I put mufflers from a 2012 on my 2013, and the only difference was the tips stuck out a little further. The valenece is different, but i believe its just sunken in for less over hang. I was able to loosen my mid pipe / OA pipes and slide the whole exhaust back about 1" or so and now they're tucked nicely. Granted this was on a 5.0, but i dont believe the rear valences are different...
