Advance trac light....

This subject has come up before but I was just wondering how many people have this light come on frequently while driving ? (Not while breaking the tires loose )
I feel like ford should put out something to fix this. bc I hear about more and more. Mine has done it since 20,000 miles. I took it to 2 dealers so many times under warranty I gave up. Now I am out of warranty. The light is annoying and when it is on you can't take traction control off .

So what you're saying is the TC light comes on while you still have perfect traction? That's strange, I've never had a problem like that.

Yes just cruising in 6th gear and advance trac light comes on. And won't go away for 30+ mins sometimes.

Try cleaning your ABS sensors. Ideally, you want the wheels off, but if you turn them to one lock or another you should be able to get in there towards the brakes/ABS line. Simple Green works really well to break up the grease without being too harsh.

I just had the lights come on twice this morning. They stayed on for a couple of min each time then went off. I'll call my dealer later on today to set something up. On a side note, what does "sport mode" do when you hit the TC button twice? The manual says traction control and advance trac is still active.

Mine has been coming on because I have been hitting high voltage. Shuts off when I stop pulley power.

Every ti.e I took mine to for they would say it's something different. Well wife they told me it was the clock spring and replaced that but it did nothing.

Mine only comes on when I turn traction control off lol. Seriously not normal for that to come on when your tires aren't slipping. I can't even get mine to turn on with wet pavement.

I have this same problem lately . mine comes on when I hit a bump in the road. It stays on the whole time i'm driving. When I start the car again it is off and then comes on again when I hit another bump. Can anyone remedy this
