Nice Alefire! Do you have the car back? How are you liking it with the kit on. I don't think you need to dyno again just for us. As long as your happy with it that's what matters.

Well at least the ratio to hp to tq won't vary. I wonder what is so different with the two tunes that has Alefire giving up 50+ ft lbs.

Those are nice numbers. Good TQ. Was expecting a little more HP on 93 with 10 lb.s of boost........ E85 looks good though.
Looks like there is a lot of improvement left in the kit too. Install needs to be streamlined and refined, seems more like a "slapped together home kit" than a mass marketed product, but I guess that's what it is at this point.
Grats Alrefire, you have a crazy fast 3.7! Hope you like it, and don't get too hung up on the numbers... dyno's are iffy things, and if it's fast enough for you, enjoy it!

If I didn't know any better I would say at 10 lbs boost your procharger isn't running right.

You. As a casual observation it looks like procharger numbers that are a little low.

Well if your not happy with it the way it is, you can drive it. Save up money and a few days and take a trip to the place that did CFM's dyno tune, or take it to Florida to LUND or MPT tuning.

Based on the ratio of hp to tq and the over all numbers it acts like a procharger and not a turbo setup.

I knew what popeye meant.

FWIW, popeye knows what hes talking about (although I do disagree sometimes with his theories).
FYI, there's a few of us on this site that don't advertise all our mods in sigs that are fully bolted on and looking for other ways on other forums of making and squeezing more power out of these 3.7 motors.

CFMs turbo was tuned my JMS (monty is their calibrator).

I have no clue how far Connor is from where you live Alrefire, but you can always do a remote tuning with Lund and VMP - not on the dyno but in real life conditions.

There's a guy in V8 section (deerslayer is his name I guess), he supercharged his 5.0 and got it remotely tuned with Lund.. with no whatsoever. I believe there are couple steps to data log it that way, and he will send you a revised tune after each step. You upload your logs to a remote site he will ask you to, and will send you a tune within 30-40mins to try out for next step.

* idle - 2000 rpm rev data log
*light acceleration data log
* dead stop -4k data log and so on.

Now I'm not saying your tuner did a ****ty job or you need a new tune. Just putting it out there if something comes along your way.

Ps: if i read posts correctly, someone was saying mustang dyno will read 20% lower than dyno jet and if that's true, you're pretty much on par with connors numbers. 506-20% = 404ish

Not on a mustang dyno. He's on a Dynocom and some say it's very similar to dynojet.

Best bet is to run it at the track

At this point I'm just waiting on the dyno curve, Justin just gave me a call, and he's going to work with me on this to see what is up with this.
Props to LPF, can't really say that Hellion or procharger would help with tuning when you don't make the numbers you expected :p

The guy that ran the mustang dyno for shunc on the "dyno time" thread said it reads 20% lower than dyno jet. But people are saying that is too conservative, and that really it is 10-15% lower. That would mean alrefire's should read 425-450 to be equivalent to Connor's.

He's NOT on a mustang dyno. He's on a Dynocom.

On my previous mustang I did dynojet vs mustang dyno. Mustang dyno was 12% lower.

To answer your question, the moderators take a hard stance about street racing videos, so they don't allow the links for them on the site.

Aaaah...ok, that makes sense. It's the only video I've seen with a boosted 3.7 in close up action...
