That just means it's making power you don't have to be on that level you can drive around on like 6-8 pounds if you want

What tires are you running?
I would not want to DD DR's or have to get a rear set of them if I wanna let loose here in NY.
I would think running Mickey Thompson street comps would be fine ... If that's not true then it's PC for me. No sense in all that extra torque if it means I can't have as much fun

Before I was on nt555s, when I was on 6 pounds and it was fine it'd spin a little bit down bottom but not too bad.

From previous experience nitto 555r tires are good for the street. Back in 03 my cobra made 442rwlb-ft and those nittos worked perfectly light wheel spin when cold, dead hook when warm plus ok wet traction(South Louisiana weather) just not sure about cold weather. Tires make a big difference.

555r is a different tire than 555
My 555 are not holding very well with my 460whp (possibly higher) v6

Nitto 555r is a drag radial those other nittos are just regular street tires. Not sure how much power he was making at 6psi but most street tire wont hold good from a launch with that kind of power. Like I said my cobra made 451/442 to the wheels and those 555r held good, plus I gave those tires to a friend with a kenne bell 99 cobra and they worked for him too.

I ran the regular street tires and on 6 pounds I was making like 420ish on a good day but I couldn't brake boost and have to be a pretty good driver if you launch it hard

Dude what would you recommend for traction around corners? My car is currently on stock suspension (springs, camber bolts and panhard bar on its way), and it just fishtails/goes sideways as soon as I floor her after a turn.

Struts, shocks, strut tower brace. You'll see a dramatic improvement from just that.

Past that, you need better tires.

But actual traction in the corner springs or coil overs. But if you punch it in a corner any car 300+ hp it's gonna slide out lol

Get some 12" wheels, and throw some wide rubber on there. Either way with over 6 psi or 420 ft lbs. your going to be spending a pretty penny on tires no matter what just trying to keep it in control.

And a side note, this part is serious...

The breather caps were were a great temporary idea, however, oil is getting everywhere.
Here's a picture I stole of Joe's car :p

The filters are spewing oil mist on everything and it's becoming messy.
Also it'll ocassionally form a drop, so I feel like a catch can with a breather will eliminate the mess that is forming in my engine bay :p

Seems a bit of a messy setup. Why not just use the JLT can? Simpler and cleaner.

Because the Jlt one feeds back into the intake...
Not ideal for boosted applications.
Plus, the port on the intake manifold now feeds to the boost gauge and wastegates.

Is this something you would recommend purchasing ahead of time so it can be installed at the same time as the kit?

Yes, you either need to make a breather setup (like I've got now) or get a catch can setup like the one I have listed.
