That's basically what my nitrous looks like too. I think he was saying that my car is advertised as beating high horsepower cars instead of horsepower numbers but I did both now.

But also doesn't bypass the maf it's in the front

Ok I see it. So it really is just a matter of tuning after install.

I had a quick convo with a bid die of mine when I asked him the benefits of a CAI or short ram before the turbo. He mentioned how most MAF sensored cars would need one for the MAF sensor to read air flow going into the turbine intake. He also mentioned how the size of the intake can change the power curve and aide in turbo spool up.

You can't do a Cai intake with a turbo. No some cars use map and maf sensors others use just one or the other. But the tube that goes into the intake manifold yes the size matters because the maf reads certain hertz and airflow so the air would be more pressurized with smaller pipe or bigger pipe so in a way yes would change it

Don't say no. Of course you can have a CAI on a turbo.

Yes. Some cars have MAP some have MAF and some use both.

My buddy tunes and builds Subarus. He didn't have any clue what car i was talking about and just gave me a generalized statement. Some cars require an intake before the turbo like most the stock turboed cars have. Some because of the MAF.

He did clarify that as well that the diameter of the cold side intercooler pipe will affect various things as well but how the turbo spools up can be affected by an intake of some sort. Also because its a turbo a 100% true to the word Cold Air Intake will have no effect on it because of how hot the air will get after compression.

He didn't go into the whole detail and science of it all just said in some cases you may want an intake pre turbo that's all I was saying.

Well its wouldn't affect anything you can put a tube on there but it would just get cooler air but it wouldn't affect power.

That makes sense in a way but the exhaust spins the turbo, the air is pushed through the intercooler then through the maf pipe into the intake. I don't know where you would put another intake I'm interested now I'll look into it

Hey alrefire around what rpm do you start to see boost? Also how hard was it to route all those vacuum lines?

2.5k you feel it barely haha
If you check the dyno it shows a boost curve
And not hard to route anything, just heat wrap whatever is close to the turbo

Looks good! LOL, the last thing you need is 1/4 of oil being dumped in the intake manifold. ..

lol... the turbo is putting big numbers, I definitely don't see anyone beating 700HP GTR's on a procharger (I know you said LPF kit, But still).

No one is going to talk down on your car, They just have different opinions.
first off I never said I was mad.. I could care less what fi route you go

But I admit I find it annoying for someone to pass judgment on something and say something is better then the other without doing neither on this motor is ignorant... to judge something by saying i saw one run or i heard this or that is pretty ignorant. It's like getting a bad movie review from a blind man and not watching the movie because of it.

Your right I don't see procharger cars beating gtrs.. but I've seen the cfm prochargerd car hit 10's at the track with there procharger setup on a stock motor .. something lpfs built motor turbo car hasent done. that goes back to what I was saying about people being fooled by the way this kit is being advertised.

Well that is a valid argument just 11.2 with issues then never got a chance to run again before the motor. But now it's making 300+ more hp and the fuel system is going in this next week so see if we can break 1000 on boost and run 9s so it will be fine

Oh and I did 11.2 on stock converter and less boost than they were on with way less suspension mods as well. Could have gone that or faster without issues but true it was never documented that fast

I'm not knocking you guys conner I just think people are being a little misled when they see a v6 mustang beating a gtr and thinking they can just buy the kit and do the same.. but you guys have a **** ton of money in and work in that thing. It's not just an lpf turbo car. It has a lot of supporting mods.

Haha no it has a driveshaft gears, a converter and pistons and rods that's it. Well nitrous but we had that at the shop. Stock trans stock rearend, I have maybe 9 into it with wheels and tires still less money than a 5.0 with bolt ons.

But did beat gtrs before nitrous too, just not 720 hp ones. The kit is impressive and Hasans car is basically what mine was at before so we will see at street car take over

Damn, thats a lot of mods!! Not so much amount but by work and cost. You've got $9k into it? How much did you buy it for?

If you paid $20k for the car then your only $2k more than me!!

How the hell do you have a driveshaft, gears, converter, wheels, tires, new engine (pistons/rods) and the turbo for $9k at OUR price?... Because that is very impressive and too good to be true.

Haha drinking math wasn't so good. But regardless, it's really not that much when you think about it when the average person spends 1200 on long tubes and x pipe 4500-5 on procharger, gears, driveshaft, and wheels and a tune comes out to about the same is all I'm saying all I have over most is the built motor which is about the same as long tubes and x pipe
