Multiple links and threads on this, including one i cant find from JPC regarding building their single kit for the 5.0. The heat and pressure skew the readings, especially if you have one sensor with those readings, and the other post turbo getting different readings ... unless i am misunderstanding something.

I've seen single kits read both banks post turbo, but i suppose that would be a better average / understanding since both sensors are reading from the same location.

This is exactly what we saw in that datalog. Interesting, be that the actual issue or not, that looks like what happened.

I just don't see how the o2 could ever read correctly in that type of set up.

Next time you do the install setup a camera man! Especially since you already did it once, I'm sure a lot of things would go more smoothly. I'm aiming to get this get by May hopefully, and would like to know as much info as possible before diving into it.

Thats really strange considering Bank 2 was the lean one in your datalogs, as lean as 13.6 in some places. Granted, you dont have load in that datalog you sent me, so i cant tell if its leaning out trying to shift, or if its actually when running, but its at the higher RPMs regardless.

Looks like 7000-7200, 13.6 in bank 2 and 12.5 in bank 1. Also just noticed 1-2* of knock during this region as well

I was rereading this thread a little bit and was hoping there could be some enlightenment on certain questions
1- what where some of the big troubles when installing this what could've been better to know beforehand
2- what tools are needed to do this install, it would suck tackling this just to find out the average garage couldn't do this
3- about the exhaust, I know this setup was made for dumps, but I don't believe it was ever answered about a normal exhaust bolt on.
4- my final annoying question, if you wanted, would it be possible to use an sct device and tuner, I know you use predator but is it possible at all to build a tune with sct

Thanks in advance.

These questions have been answered previously.
2) basic hand tools and a drill
3)y pipe will be offered
4)no, you'd have to find another tuner.

Define "didnt work?" Im confused as to why both o2 sensors reading in the same place would some how be inferior to two reading from different parts of the system ...

He can use an SCT, the device is just a means of transferring the tune, it doesnt effect the content of the tune. Unless i'm misunderstanding the question.

We put the o2s right next to each other completely off readings. Put them in the same pipe still not close. That's all pre turbo. Put them both post turbo still spread readings. Put one in the downpipe one right after the turbo reading within .02. If they weren't close I wouldn't be running it that way. It's that way in out two other local cars too and they are fine
