Them being a heat sink is the point, thats why they're finned internally / externally, to pull heat out of the oil. Also, by "metal" im assuming you mean the stock stamped steel cover, which isnt exactly true, aluminum is a much better heat sink (runs hotter), which is why intercooler and radiator cores are made from aluminum.

I'm all sorts of screwed up today, but what I mean is, the metal covers will hold heat more than the finned diff covers that allow them to run cooler.

Your going to swap a coyote into a cyclone? Good luck lol. That's going to cost a lot more than it would have if you just paid the extra for a coyote in the first place. Only benefit here is that you'd have a coyote and the insurance would see a cyclone.

On the flip side. Let's say you wreck the car. The motor would then not be covered by insurance because you did not inform them of the motor swap.

Sticky situation but if I was you just to be safe I would just trade in the cyclone stang and order a coyote of your taste.

Just my .02

Same!!! It costs me like 7 bucks to do every step lol. Most time is wasted changing from the soap spray to rinse off. It takes forever for the soap to clear out.

I have been using a ryobi electric pressure washer that will soap at 50:1. It does a fantastic job for a 100$ pressure washer. I do have a gas honda aswell but I prefer the softer spray of the electric one. Still have to hand wash her but you always will unless your blasting off paint.

Alrefire sorry to hear about the leaker on your hands. Doesn't sound like you'll be dealing with it for much longer though

Yet another case of someone making a good product, thinking "hey I can make money off this" and then having zero clue how to deliver and not having any sort of morals to actually make the ****ing product they were paid for. Same as the Joeystang M112 pushrod kits and many other products over the years.

I wonder if Chad at On3 is going to come out with a Cyclone kit... Chad could do it pretty easy, it would sell like crazy and he's got that business of his going great.

Lack of follow through. Never good to have QC problems with your first batch. Those are the ones you want perfect so they may sing your praise from the mountain tops.
