The original... Boss 227!

I'm not so much worried about the fitament and install. Just that it can always be made better. Excited for the future of the V6 Turbo world. That is if they keep the v6 arourd and dont phase them out...thus getting rid of the need for more aftermarket parts.

Simply saying that there is no such thing as a perfectly built kit. I'm sure the kit will not be the same in 3 years as it is now. I personally think this turbo kit for the v6 stangs is the greatest thing since sliced bread but that doesnt mean everyone is gonna love everything about the design as some have expressed in the other thread.

Thats what i like to hear! I think "options" was more of the word i meant. Different variations to the kit. Trial and error what people like and what they dont. Being able to not only buy a kickass turbo kit but to sort of customize it for what a particular person wants could be a great opportunity to sell alot of kits. Having 2-3 different options for the same base kit could be your best bet later on. Keep it up, just dont jack the prices up too crazy in the future. Not made of money here.

I think $5,200 is around the general price most kits will be (obviously not twins or anything crazy). Procharger is 5300, and that seems to be the price point that's been set in the past. 5-5.5k should be reasonable and fair. If the kit is blowing away the procharger and is around the same price more people will buy it. If it's a decent amount more people may view it as "a step up" and go with the cheaper option. Just my thoughts on pricing, not my kit and they can sell it for whatever they want.

Haha we know plus we know it's a whole different ball game than v8s plus I know I drive a six and it's my only car which I'm sure it's the way it is with most people on here! Plus we are trying to make it to where if you have the single you with be able upgrade to the twins with a few modifications! Whatever we put on my car will be available to whoever else wants to try it out keeps things interesting

If the kit was priced at 4k, would it still be profitable? I think if priced below procharger it would be an easy choice over it.

If this kit was priced at 4k I would order it in a second. $1.2k saved? I would deal with some cutting and trimming and a few hours of trying to make everything fit for that.

If we sold it for 4k it would be a journal bearing, cast wheel, and oil fed so you'd have to tap the oil pan. Then no injectors... we are gonna offer one for around 4-4700 with the oil fed turbo.

The 4k will be for people only to make 4-450 if they would want to use stock injectors and really want to go on a budget

Nice clamph. Good to see you asking for feed back and posting stuff up, especially with the customer in mind. As I had stated earlier in this thread, my stance on the kit has really changed the past week or two. It is a quality looking kit.

Glad to hear that! I am definitely interested. Out of curiosity will you offer tunes for an SCT tuner in the future, or will you stick with diablo?

Well now that we had someone else bolt it up and try it out helped us know what we could fix! Just trying to put the best kit out that we can.

We can't get sct tunes they want a huge buy in and we have to sell a certain amount of scts a month and just not in the budget right now. But we can do Diablo or hp tuners

At 4k $ I think it would sell in bunches , especially for people deciding between turbo or procharger.

One of the big selling points for me was the turbo kit was designed on a 13 model automatic 3.7 mustang. All the other kits made came out for the 11-12's and modified for the 13-14's. I know it shouldn't matter if it was automatic vs. manual, but it does give some peace of mind knowing the turbo kit works great on a 13' automatic.

Clamphier, checked out LPF site a bit ago, nice that you are now letting people pick and choose what they want to get. Tapping the oil pan wouldn't be that hard, they make the taps or you could have a bung welded to your oil pan.
Are you going to provide instructions where to get oil from the head and lines for the oil turbo setup or would that be the buyers responsibility?

We could send people the basics to do it but you'd be responsible for the most part because it'd be wherever you wanted to put it. But you'd get all the components.
We are working on getting oil pans to sell taped already then you send us your stock one

This turbo kit sounds great but seems the pro charger supercharger is a way simpler system to install. 8 pounds boost and bam, 400 plus rwhp instantly. Just curious but what makes this system a better option than the pro charger system?

To up the boost you don't have to by a pulley or change one out. It's not belt driven so it's not parasitic runs off the exhaust. Way more efficient and you will pick up gas mileage. It's not limited you can make lower power or high power just depends what you want to run that day and you wouldn't have to do anything else. Plus it makes almost 100 more torque on the same amount of boost as the procharger

Modern turbos also have more potential than superchargers. You can only create so much boost with pulley swaps on the procharger. As far as I know, that's the only supercharger available for the 3.7, so outside of custom fitting a larger one (insanely expensive), you're left with that.

As clamphier said, there is also the parasitic effect. Which will reduce engine life. Not as much as a twin screw with almost instant torque, but it's still tapped into the crank.

Free would be nice right lol

Turbos are nothing like they used to be and are crazy efficient. It seems like every time we order a turbo they are changing something up to make it even more efficient. It's awesome but you can't really beat turbo efficiency plus it weighs way less than the procharger.
