That's really not a number I give out....
You can see the parts I purchase all throughout the thread, you can add them up if you really want a final figure.
just note, I rarely buy anything new unless I absolutely have to.

so one of the components that are "required" for swapping from an automatic to a manual is a new brake fluid reservoir. the reason for this is so that you can run a hydraulic clutch line to the reservoir. I read that during hard braking, this can cause the fluid to heat up a lot and can cause issues with engaging and disengaging the clutch (no ****). Anyways, it seems that a way to solve this problem is to adapt the clutch reservoir off of a GTO (since it's only 20 dollars) and to cap the hole on the OEM brake reservoir (that is for the clutch line). it seems that several over there have done it, and are pleased with the results. Why am I interested in this? Because it suggests that I can re-use my Automatic reservoir (no hole/fitting for clutch line) and adapt a cheap reservoir from another vehicle to suit my needs. Not only does this assist in keeping the costs of the swap down (by a whopping 50 dollars ) but it also serves as a cooling-mod of sorts. I suggest you manual transmission guys look into it.

bought a set of brembo wheels from Terry (wire tucked guy)

all season set of continental contiprocontact w/ 70% tread for $251 (win for the night)

Also got 1 MPSS 275/40/18 for 170 w/ 90% tread

going to run the brembo wheels during the winter months, and save the forgestars for the warmer weather.

I'm also debating getting 2 more forgestar CF5 18x9s to run a square 275/40/18 setup during the summer and 2 more 18x10s to use for the track.

the forgestars won't happen for a while (unless I can find a used set), but that's my long term goal.

I'd argue that a GT mt-82 with a 3.31 gear will be pretty damn good on a road course if you're around mid to low 400s ... ask me how i know lol . I know you'll be running more than that, BUT there's no shortage of GT guys wanting to ditch the MT-82 for a 6r80, so you may have more luck there.

Unfortunately, the bellhousing patterns are different b/w the v6 and gt, and they are not removable on the mt82 and 6r80 :/

Haha, true statement. When the blizzard hit (last year?) my dad was stuck at his office overnight on Hwy 280.

Over here they close bridges and none of my employees can come to work...

Will do. It's about a 7hr drive; hard to justify when I can be in New Orleans in 3.

Parts purchased so far:

Premium pedal assembly
Clutch master cylinder
Clutch slave cylinder
Manual ecu

I'm going to white out the prices on the estimate just to show y'all what parts it comes with (like the clutch line for example)

Jack is going to make me a separate reservoir out of 6061 aluminum. That will bolt onto the strut tower caps. He will be mass producing them. I'll keep you guys updated with more info on that project of his.

here we go

I'm not going to need all of these parts since I'm sourcing some out for much cheaper. For example, I got a premium pedal assembly w/some of the wiring, with the master clutch cylinder for about 1/2 the cost of getting it brand new. The slave cylinder was purchased @ 1/3 of the cost new. These are the parts that are required for any auto-manual swap, so they aren't t56 specific.

bought the pilot bearing
also purchased one of Jack's separate clutch reservoirs (should have it by late next week)

more info on Jack's custom separate clutch reservoir.
Price is 150

Will mount to strut studs. Will have screw on cap and fluid levels viewing tube. includes new line to master clutch cylinder and includes a cap for your brake fluid reservoir (since the clutch and brake will now be isolated systems)

keep in mind, it is made out of aluminum, so it'll have a nice shiny finish to it.
PM me if you're interested, or contact Jack if you know how to do that.

instead of going through an mt-82 intermediate, I'm just going to go straight to a t56.

I initially wanted to swap to an mt82 initially so that I could confirm that everything worked before putting the t56 in, but I already purchased most of the components that I need to do the swap, so I'm not going to worry about it.
