AutoAnything

Hey guys, just picked up some BBK ceramic shorty headers for the amazing price of $320!! Thank you to who alerted me of this steal
They currently have sales of 10% and 15% off!
The 15% off applies to a lot of things, for example, BBK throttle bodies are $330...
They don't have as wide a selection as AM or LMR or CJPP, but if it's something particular you're looking for doesn't hurt to check.
They offer free shipping as well, and the customer service was great when I called. If you are looking into making some purchases, check them out! Can't hurt to look and maybe save $50 +
Just figured I would share this here for everyone's benefit and save some people some $ if possible.

Yes sir, myself and a friend who's a new mechanics apprentice are going to tackle it. He needs experience and I need a helping hand! Neither of us have done a header install before. Should be interesting!

Longtubes? Oh jeez, you couldn't pay me enough to do those LOL... that would be an 8-10 hour install if you've never done it before I would imagine... I'm hoping for 4 on the shortys

It was about 6 hours with 2 people, lots of rust penetrant, swearing, busted knuckles and the mother of all breaker bars.

Shorties are pretty straightforward, just don't break off a stud or anything silly like that.

It will be easy just take your time and make sure that the studs from the old manifold stays cos it will make your install a lot easier. You're using your old studs right?

And try spraying some pb blaster on the camber bolts before you start cos that will give you a challenge to take them out.

This is just what I do. 2 days prior to me working on the car I will start on blasting in the morning and at night. I found it's helped me. I also have a pretty decent sized breaker bar (3-4 foot and a lead pipe to add just in case)
