Mustang 2014 v6 build list (possible Killer 6 in the making)

Hey guys! Just thought of creating a thread of my build list to get your opinions on future mods.

Current mods:

Performance
- roush cold air intake
- bbk 73mm throttle body
- bbk long tube headers
- bbk off road x pipe
- Magnaflow street muffler
- for racing 4.10 gears
- H&R street lowering springs
- lund racing & MPT tune (on SCT x4)

Exterior
- billet grille
- real carbon quarter panel window louvers, side scoops and side diffuser (will be finished in 2 weeks time perhaps)
- Roush chin spoiler
- 20' American racing wheels
- Nitto NT05 (rear- 275/35/20; front- 255/35/20)
- Shelby stuff: faux gas cap, fender & front grille badge (which I will be removing soon... Decided to go a different route)

Ordered and will be receiving few days from now:
- 1 piece aluminum driveshaft (driveshaft shop)

Ordering next week:
- Whiteline lower & upper control arm (double adjustable), LCA relocation bracket & panhard bar

A torque converter changes the engine stall point, in a nut shell it allows higher rpm launches.

As for procharger vs turbo kit, kind of a dead horse. Pick the one you like, the procharger is more fleshed out and easier to install, get going. The turbo has a lot of potential once LPF learns more from the first adopters and adapts the product.

No problem. No twin turbo kits out yet, but clamphier mentioned that's on the horizon for LPF, when, I'm not really sure.

You can always custom fab your own kit with help from knowledgeable shops, but that's very expensive and uncharted territory.

Basically from what I have gathered is procharger is good if u want a really great daily driver and turbo is great if u want a good daily driver and a great track car

No sakib... I jump from one garage to another depending on my mods... funny part, GM guys installed my headers and x pipe! If you wonder why? it just happens that i know the head of the service center and I can easily drive in and do my stuff! :p

If you have the means, find a good reputable shop that's willing to tackle it. Since it'll be custom to your car the fit will be just how you want it.

But make sure they have experience with turbo cars and they can give you suggestions of what individual parts like turbos, size, bovs, etc you'll need for your goals.

@joey there is one shop that is well known in dubai for turbo stuff .. They actually laughed at me when I asked. .. Basically they do not recommend to turbocharged a v6 mustang automatic. ..

Find another shop. It's not like the Mustang is a lesser car. Plenty of V6 cars are turbo, such as Porsche, BMW, etc.

Holy mother fracking dog *****. We got another one here boys. OP, could you possibly stick more f-ing cobra emblems on your 3.7 V6? Holy ***** man. What the F is wrong with people. You have a f-ing V6 3.7 model. You don't have a 4.0, GT model, Shelby, Cobra model. No reason to stick f-ing snakes, chickens, frogs, GM, or other badges that have no model affiliation to your mustang.

That is the highest level of tool bag car ownership and the cardinal sin of the mustang code of honor. Its in the mustang rules of conduct and etched in stone. Thall shall not ever be a tool bag by placing emblems on it in an attempt to hide it's actual model. Thall shall especially not stick f-ing snake emblems on a V6 model. Wtf dude. Really? I don't even know why you want additional mods. You have 4 snake emblems. I thought they added like 300 rwhp instantly. Wtf!

You have a f-ing V6 3.7 model. You don't have a 4.0, GT model, Shelby, Cobra model. No reason to stick f-ing snakes, chickens, frogs, GM, or other badges that have no model affiliation to your mustang.

That is the highest level of tool bag car ownership and the cardinal sin of the mustang code of honor. Its in the mustang rules of conduct and etched in stone. Thall shall not ever be a tool bag by placing emblems on it in an attempt to hide it's actual model. Thall shall especially not stick f-ing snake emblems on a V6 model. Wtf dude. Really? I don't even know why you want additional mods. You have 4 snake emblems. I thought they added like 300 rwhp instantly. Wtf!

As to the ops question. I am REALLY considering going with a pro charger, but clamp is right here in Houson, so I might go that route too.

Also do you have a wide body kit? The tire picture makes it look so.

I have to ask though op. If you were originally going the shelby route, why not just go for a full Shelby GTS look? The GTS is a sixxer that shelby procharges and wide bodies and etc.
