I just loaded my new 93R tune last night. Says to give to up to 50 miles for the ECU to totally program. I do notice it seems to creep down when letting off the accelerator. Other than that havent really opened up yet so will report back tomorrow or later tonight once i get a chance to play

When you say "creep down" do you mean engine braking?

Does anyone know why Bama doesn't offer the hybrid tune anymore? I have been told they don't do it anymore by them but wasn't given an answer why.

Because out with the old, in with the new. Their "revised" tunes that people are talking about here supposedly do the same thing the hybrid tune attempted to do, but better.

Well I have been running this 91Performance tune and I don't see it pulling as hard like when I had the hybrid tune. I installed the tune a couple days ago. I was told the 91P tune would be like the hybrid but don't feel it.

Yeah we can only answer your question by saying what they claim. Your actual experience may be different, such is life. But members of this forum seem to get an inside track on improving their experience with BAMA if you tell Alex about your problems.

I can try it but from the posts I read it seems that the mpg drop a big chunk with the race tune. I live in LA so it wouldn't do it for me considering all this traffic. The hybrid tune was perfect when I had it and had no issue with my mpg considering bumper to bumper traffic lol

Well how many different tunes would you like
Street 87
Performance 87
Race 87
Hybrid 87
Street 91
Performance 91
Race 91
Hybrid 91
Street 93
Performance 93
Race 93
Hybrid 93

The reason they trimmed down cause there was a ton of confusion.

Looking through posts is where I have seen it. Like i said haven't tried it and I will. The only thing I have been noticing is that my car is running a bit rich. I am not sure if it is the off road x pipe i installed tho. At start up I just smell gas for a bit then it goes away. Not sure if this is an issue but just thought i throw that out

Sounds like the x pipe it will give more of a smell . Have you logged it running rich or just from the smell

Well with an O/R pipe there will obviously be more of a smell. Data log it if you want to know if you're running rich

I will be doing that this weekend. I had Bama send me the instructions on to data log. I'll see from there if anything has to be done. It could be the tune and it just needs to be adjusted

I haven't tried the 89P tune I have yet.

Correct me if I'm wrong (which I am a lot), but the difference between the performance and the race tune is that the performance will have more power down low?

On the new bama tunes I was told they incorporated the down low power into the race and in mine that's what I have . Much better than performance

Yeah, I've heard that too.

I'm trying to figure out what the performance tune does if the race tune has all of the good bits of the performance tune plus the good bits of the race tune.

Still waiting on mine. Placed my order on 8-30 and haven't gotten them yet. I did get an email stating that Bama is behind on getting tunes out due to the holiday.

Yeah I've only run the 93R just because I like it so much lol. I might ask for the 93P just to see what it's about.

Ya, almost like engine braking. When I accelerate up to say 3,500 rpm (random number happens throughout) it is slowly dropping rpms with no foot on gas. Noticeably slower than before. Not an issue that I know of just seemed wierd. Still idles at like 700 or so. Now that you say that is almost like engine braking. I have a manual btw.

Only loaded last night and dropped kid at school and drove to work so maybe 15-20 miles driven.

:Update:
So I got my new 91r beta last week and so far loving it, but noticed today while highway driving my speedo is off. : (
Called Bama and they said that the gear ratio or tire size was incorrect with the tune. They also said I should get the new revised tune before the end of the day but I'm not sure that's going to happen.

First time on the highway today with the new tune and when I looked down at the speedo it said 120km, and there was now way I was doing that speed, my passenger has a speed app that uses GPS to determine speed, so I set the cruise at 120 and I was only doing 106. Still haven't heard back from Bama so I guess I'll have to call them again or have to go through Alex once more.

Alright, Forest hooked me up at Bama, sent me the new 91R and also sent me a 93R. I also asked if all the new tunes now were the new "Beta" and he replied yes, all the "race tunes" Thanks Bama! Next week I'm going to fill up with some 94 and give the 93R a try.

So ur telling me that all there other tunes aren't the "beta" ones? I find it stupid that they tell me one thing and then tell others another thing. Now I know why the performance tune feels like there is NO change. I still wish they had the hybrid tune.

Maybe Alex can confirm this for us. He did sound very knowledgeable towards the tunes though.
