I have MAC long tubes with MBS high flow cats and a MAC prochamber. This feeds into two Corsa mufflers. The Corsa mufflers are straight flow and use phase canceling to deaden the sound. No drone at 75 mph, not too loud at idle. This is quite loud when the foot is down. I believe the cats help deepen the sound.

Good high flow cats drop Hp by about 1. I have seen before and after dyno runs with 2 hp drop but no more. In effect, there is no power difference between running straight or running cats. The nice thing about cats is they tend to limit that ratty sound our V6's can have with the additional benefit of not ***** slapping the environment.

I just installed the Borla Stinger Axlebacks on my 2014 v6. This is the only modification I have. I must say, they sound nice and deep, with a sexy loudness to them. I've thoroughly enjoyed running pointless errands today just to listen to my new exhaust.

They were used so I'm not sure how different they sound before they are broken in. But I would definitely recommend them if you're considering Borla S Type! If there is any particular video you'd like, I can try to create it for you tomorrow.

The BORLA "S" is fantastic.
The BORLA XR1 (Multicore, NOT Sportsman) is their top tier performance muffler and sounds sick on Mustangs.

I did not want to open a new thread for my question so here it is; is there an exhaust system for 2014 v6 mustangs that has a valve system in it. It would be great if there is one so that I can make it silent whenever I need.

I saw that there is a variable exhaust option for new 2014 camaros from the factory.

BBK has one for the V8 called the Vari-tune. Not sure if they've made one for the V6 yet
