Plus if you are going over 7000 rpms then you have exceeded the speed limit by at least double.

Stick to the question.

Daily drivers with a tune have you blown up your engine?
My car is a daily, iddles, ac, runs on e85. Pretty sure that's a daily to me so have a more open mind bud

If you are stupid enough to rev your engine past 7000 rpms then you should not be driving. We are talking about our everyday cars. Not race cars
Mine shifts at 7600 rpm and it's no race car.

I've had a 7500 Rpm limiter on my car for over 30 thousand miles. Car runs fine. don't spew misinformation. The 5.0 and 3.7 can rev to 7500 no problem.

My car has seen over 100 passes at the strip each one shifting @7500 Rpm or even banging into the limiter. Both engines valvetrains are quite strong, especially the 3.7 with its direct accentuating mechanical bucket system.

Correct, stock internals.

If the block checks out then I will keep it after the swap, and start a build with that one.

I was not talking about race cars. The OP was asking about tuners and voided warranties. I simply laid out a scenario where they possibly could void your warranty. And going past 7000 RPMs would not necessarily be an act of stupidity. A person could easily miss a shift then not be protected by the means the manufacturer has provided.

Yeah, hit over 7k by accident once I'm sure when "trying" to use the sport shift to get around some slow jerk and went into 1st... Last time I used that goofy button shifter.
