Nitrious Kit options for my 2013 V6?

I've been looking around and can't find many options for Nitrous on this car... I would really like to have one installed by the end of October.

Also, The ZEX customer service rep told me he has heard of this one working for the 2013 V6, Anyone know if it's true?

Pretty much all nitrous kits are universal, there are minor pieces that are specific to the car.

I was told that, However my knowledge about modifying cars isn't too great, So if I bought the kit, I'd basically take it to my mechanic with a "Here, Make it work" mentality...

Does anyone here have a 2013 V6 that's running nitrous?

I'm not extremely familiar with Nitrous so someone else may have a little more useful info. Ish and Rapinator seem to be the go-to nitrous guys around here lately.

Zex stuff generally sucks. Not to mention, that you will be lacking several important components with that kit.

Get something decent. This setup is what I will be going with, it has everything you need and is made for the 3.7 V6.

This - 2011-2014 3.7L V6 Mustang Hard-line Plate System - 2011-2014 3.7L V6 Mustang Hard-line Plate System - Ford Systems - EFI Wet Nitrous Systems

and this - Brand X Stage 2 Accessory Package for 4AN Systems - Brand X Stage 2 Accessory Package for 4AN Systems - Accessory Packages - Nitrous Accessories

That is everything you will need besides the nitrous, colder plugs and a tune.

I did a write up about nitrous a few months ago, it might be worth reading over if you are new to it. It's just the basic stuff - Nitrous - True Facts

This is some thing you want to make sure you do right the first time. No cutting corners here.

I will do what I possibly can to build a beast of a V6.

As Ish said in his Nitrous thread :

"This sudden jump in power puts extra stress on the everything but mainly the pistons, rings and rods."

Since I will also be adding a S/C or Turbo (Not sure which set up I want yet), A long with the Nitrous Oxide, I will definitely get forged Pistons/Rods.

Remember, along with the set up. The tune is one of the (if not THE) most important things you will need. A good one at that.

No worries, everyone is a nitrous newbie at some point. The Nitrous - true facts post was just a way of getting people to understand the basics. I have personally witnessed friends buying cheaper nitrous setups and getting less than ideal performance or worse.

Nitrous is a fickle bish and you need to have things properly setup and have good equipment. That along with general knowledge on how it works and how all the parts tie together is a must for anyone spraying their car.

Yes sir, Right now I'm using the BAMA tuner for basic mods, However when I get my nitrous set up and the Turbo or Supercharger set up, I will move onto Dyno Tuning. I've already researched a couple of places that have a good reputation.
