GT500 Exhaust and CAI Question

Hi All,

I'm new to the forum, and relatively new to Mustangs too (6 months in my '14 v6). There's a guy selling GT500 Exhaust and Intake in my area, and I was wondering if $500 seems like a good price for both. It's my understanding, based on threads from this forum, that the exhaust can be manipulated to fit. What about the intake?

Just want some feedback from those who actually know what there doing, because I certainly don't! Also, do exhaust/airtake alterations affect warranty?

Thanks,
Adam

The intake from a GT500 won't fit the V6. The mufflers can be made to fit though.

300 would be a fair price for dual tip mufflers.. provided they're in great shape

Good to know - just wouldn't know how to make them fit on my current setup. Appreciate the response!

You would have to have them welded on.

Would the dual tips fit the single tip holes in the rear bumper? Like I said... I don't know a whole lot, so I appreciate your patience!

No, you will have to get the GT500 rear Valence and cut into the bumper to install it, the cut lines are already marked on the inside of the bumper.
