Singed Hair Smell

I've looked around for an answer to this, but didn't really see this particular question - generally it was on new cars.

Anyhow, I just got a 2013 V6 with about 30k miles on it. Only after driving... enthusiastically... there is a smell very much like singed/burned hair inside the car. I'm sure it's just me being paranoid, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Your thoughts?

Check your engine bay for small animals.

Checked that, nothing in the engine bay that isn't supposed to be there. No obvious leaks or anything either.

Did you drive aggressively when the car was new, before breaking it in? If so, it's your cats. Here's your answer: Funky smell coming from vents

I know what smell you're talking about. It happens to me too after "spirited" driving.

I read somewhere on here a while ago that it's normal and nothing to be concerned about.

I just got the car used, so I'm not sure about that.

I've read that it's pretty normal for new vehicles, but I've never seen anyone say it was normal after it's been broken in. Even so, it makes me feel a little better.
