I have a 2013 V6 Premium automatic transmission, Steeda CAI & Steeda 93 octane Tune, and swapped my 2.73 for 3.73 gear ratio.
Fastest time I was able to get was 5.7s from this morning, (5.8s last Friday). Location is southeast Texas with 73 degrees Fahrenheit for temperature and 98% humidity. Why is my time so slow??
This guy has similar mods, but still has the stock 2.73 gear ratio and can run 5.0s flat! >_> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwNYjD2Vhcs

Well, I am still on crappy pirelli neros... so it tire spins a lot. Basically bone stock besides 275's, rims that are about 4 pounds lighter each rim than stock, and RTR axlebacks. Weather also hasn't been the best, 70-80 and medium to somewhat high humidity.
Yes, the humidity will have an effect on a vehicles performance. The warmer and more humid the air is the less power the car will produce.
This is typically why people do not like to have their car dynoed on a hot or hot and rainy day.
The colder the air the more dense it is so it has more oxygen. When the air is hot and humid it’s even worse lowering the volume of oxygen the car is taking in.
:O so with better climate conditions I should see closer to 4.5-4.7?
You and the other person both have a lower gear ratio with much better time than me. :/
I had my Steeda tune revised a bit (though I don't know what changed, but I felt like the throttle response and shifting wasn't where it needed to be, I assume whatever changes were done had to do with those two things). When I programmed the tune to the car a window popped up and said previous tune settings were found, apply..." or something like that.
What does that mean? And on the following screen I used to see the fuel octane option and be able to choose which octane I wanted, that's gone now. Is that normal? Also, after the tune finished being programmed onto my car. I started the car and after about a second the car just died. I started it again and it seemed to be okay...is that normal? I'm currently highly concerned about that dying after running for one second.
Heat is likely killing you. I would imagine it's arid dry heat there but I wouldn't really know haha
