What brand of DR?

What size?

A good burn out is key and you wanna see some smoke.

Also try not to pop the clutch when you launch but more of a quick slip. It will take a little practice and getting to know the track, tire condition and 60'.

Even with 3.73s the a6 is kinda lazy off the line with the stock converter. I've never run an a6 on radials (traded my gf's v6 a6 in on a v6 m6) but I would stage her car around 1500-2000 Rpms on 275 street tires and would cut around 2.0 60'. I don't see any suspension work, so I'm not sure how well you'll be able to load that radial, but that's a lot of tire. I'd say stage it to 2500 or so and drop the hammer.

have you ever staged the car before? Basically gas and brake on the line to get the rpms up, but more importantly, putting load on the engine. Dont rev in neutral and drop it into drive lol. Its a little tricky at first, but kinda cool when you get it down.

Is there a specific torque converter for a 2014 v6 ? Can't find any in the website. I believe AM is not selling Circle D?

Same transmission as the automatic GT, it'll work. No AM isn't selling them currently.

A different bell housing? Doesn't make much sense but it's possible.

Its going to a different engine, Hence, the different bellhousing. The V6 is 30* shallower than the V8, so i imagine there will be some space limitations.

True. In alrefire ' s case and other people that are boosted, I wonder if the 258 could be made to work.

I plan on FI in the future so I'd like to know as well. Or possibly swap a bell housing from a GT, but I don't think it would mate flush against the V6 engine after considering all this.

It may be worth giving CircleD a call. I've never bothered looking into them since i drive an M6, but literally EVERY 5.0 with a converter is some degree of CircleD. May be worth a chat, they have several different models, although i've never heard of the 258 and such. Typically they're measured as a number and a letter, 4C, 5C ...

On that link that's just the base converter, then you choose your stall speed which is 1c, 2c etc.
