Fender flares?

Any thoughts on putting fender flares?

- are there available ones off the shelf? AM? Or we need to customize one?

dubaighost-that's a good question and as far as I know the guys that build Vaughn's drift cars make them exclusively. I don't imagine that they would have these made for the general public as they're likely costly. My best recommendation would be to hook up with a body shop to see if they're willing to tackle something like this! Aside from ASD, APR/Andy's Auto Sport might be somewhere to look into!

If you really wanted to do it, then it would be expensive. They have to cut the existing quarter panels and fenders and shape and weld more metal there then repaint the whole thing.

Better hope you have a good welder or it will look like crap. Personally, I don't think it fits the body lines to do that.

Pleeeese don't do it. Cutout fender flares belong on trucks and jeeps not muscle cars. The only flared fenders I'd even be close to saying are worth it is the ones from the APR widebody kit - and your looking at $1400+ for the kit, having a real body shop mould it in and then nearly repainting the whole car. Oh but what I'd give to have it!!

The fender flares on arps cars look good, but no where near as good as the shelby ones IMO!
