Headers

A friend of mine just got a v6 mustang as well. He is looking at the mac shorty headers. I have bbk and love them. Any difference quality and performance wise between the two? Any dyno results for both brands and styles?

I like Mac, I have their axle back. Plus they are local to me so that's nice. Quality wise Id say they are equal. The BBK's are 50 state legal though and come with a CARB sticker if that's important. If emissions aren't a problem Id go with Mac.

No they are almost identical. Performance gains from either are minimal.

No dyno numbers comparing the two, as the install on these is a real pain. Only real knowledgable difference (from popeye) is that the Mac's are much easier to install.

Where do you get your info from?
Very substantial bump in the lower to mid range RPM
