What's the lowest MPG readout you've had from your V6?

I'm getting around 12-13 MPG. 99% of my driving is on the highway, but it is almost always rush hour traffic at ~7 MPH average.

I get 13 cause I'm learning how to drive stick so it's kinda a lot of unnecessary revving on my part.

I used to get around 16 mpg with 90% city. But it jumped to like 20 when I drove on the highway.

22mpg average on the first full tank I ran through it. Granted I was doing lots of stop and go and doing some spirited driving(nothing over 4k rpm). I average 25-26 now mix of highway/city. I get 32 hwy on road trips with the cruise set at 75.

Most shifts are sub 2500 rpm, any normal driving I try to cruise sub 2k rpm.

But that's when you reset your MPG gauge when you turn on your car and don't move... That's not fair >_>.

People have gotta stop posting their MPG if it's based on an insignificant amount of miles... Doesn't represent anything worth sharing.

Worth sharing is subjective. The pic was just a joke. Obviously it doesn't always get that. Twas funny. Geez.
If fact, I personally think that the above post didn't represent anything worth sharing.

12-14mpg at 118mph in fourth gear for 20 minutes while trying to burn off a half tank of gas as fast as possible on the autobahn. Kind of shocked that it was so high. Isn't that what the old Fox 5.0s got on the highway?

+1 On this, exactly what I see. I only put in about 7-8 gallons. Houston, Texas, humidity...no need for a full tank of gas just for it to sit almost 16 hours of the day (work and bed).

I can usually get about 190+ miles with that so thats an average of 25mpg! Not bad for v6 Mustang.

Oh and believe me (sure all of you can relate) its extremely hard to drive....um "Sane?" haha with this type of power in your hands. I can only imagine if I had a 5.0....

I agree. I can get mine to display under 10 or over 50 if I rest it at the right time. And wow i thought my mpg wasnt great until I saw some of these numbers. I still wish i could be in that 25 average like some of yall. I do all my MPG calculations by hand and usually fill up at about an 1/8 of a tank to full. The worsed I have ever gotten is no less than 17(very aggressive driving). The best was 31 on a road trip, all hwy miles, trying to stay as close to 60mpg as possible. I log all my calculations and I am averaging 19.99 over the last 6 months. This is in San Antonio so very warm weather. And I have a 6MT with 3.31 gearing.

Took mine on a road trip the first weekend I had it. Got just over 30mpg calculating by hand on 1254 miles round trip. I was pleased. Since I've been back in town and have had a little fun I'm around 20mpg, which is still nice. When I had fun in my Explorer I could get it down to about 11mpg...

Now I'm lucky to get 18 mpg. I do a lot of intense city driving. Not a whole lot on thw hwy.

My trip to the American Muscle show (Up & Back)

All 87 Octane gas used, No oil used at all.
This was all just normal driving and bot worrying about saving gas at all.

Around town here in the Daytona area I always get at least 26 or 27 MPG on 87 octane.
I generally use Shell or BJ's Or Sam' club gas.
