Spare tires on '12 mustang v6

For some reason my 2012 mustang v6 did not come with a spare tire but it came with a tire inflator. Is this normal???

Normal, depending upon the options. If you have the performance package or Brembo brakes you don't get a spare. The spare won't clear the front calipers.

Like the patch kit that comes standard in the Shelby's? If you're not the first owner maybe the previous owner replaced the spare with the patch kit from Ford.

Edit: ^beat me to it

In the 2011 MY at least the spare was a special option and I didn't find any local with them.

+1...the 1st thing I did was buy a plug kit, then I bought a set of used take offs to run instead of my summer only tires when it gets cold. If I'm going further than 50 miles from home I throw one of the other set in the trunk (along with my junkyard jack).

Spare tires on '12 mustang v6

Ok cause I bought the car at a nissan dealership and I'm the second owner. This is my first stang so I don't have anything to compare with. Yesterday I was cleaning my car and started to fiddle around and I found this tire repair kit but there's a place to put a spare tire. I went back to the dealership and they acted like "we don't think the spare tire would fit there."

Want a set of spare tires? Lol. I have a whole set I'm not using less than 2k miles on them. I have a donut in my trunk that I use. Mine didn't come with a spare just the little patch kit that doesn't work at all.....
