Invest in the Caster Camber Plates instead of the Camber Bolts. I've heard nothing good about the bolts, It's a "Mickey mouse" job, If you understand what I mean.

If it is not more than a 1.5 inch drop there is no need for the plates. It is not a Mickey mouse job it is totally fine and 100% safe.

You still need lower control arm relocation brackets.

The point of a new LCA is to resist deflection when putting weight on the axle. They're basically useless now since the geometry will be altered, and load isn't even going to be transferred to the axle.

Also, I've seen a few people mention their camber and everything was fine with no brackets. Yes, it is, because that is not a piece that effects camber. There is no part of an alignment that can correct for what the brackets do, plus there is no camber in the rear, and the fronts obviously behave independently of the rear axle.

You can but there is certainly no need to. I left the LCA and relocation brackets for a different time. Sorry I didn't see you were planning on getting LCA's.

By no need I mean there is no need to do LCAs and brackets at the same time as lowering. I left that for a serperate time

I think the brackets would do you more good than the control arms themselves at this point, so I would either get the brackets, or nothing as far as the LCAs are concerned.

Basically:
springs, PHB, brackets

or
Springs, PHB

Camber bolts are just so safe

Why invest $250 into a $20,000+ investment when you can cheap out at $30 and risk major damage to the car and yourself.

Makes total sense.

No. 2 Stangz was being sarcastic. Get the CC plates instead of the bolts.

You don't need the plates shunc. Save the $. Do that when you do your entire suspension. You don't track your car. The bolts will be 100% fine. Socal stangman, myself, fastford, and countless others don't run the plates and are totally fine and we are DD

You must live in a good neighborhood... lmao.

I swear, I work night shift and need to wake up at 12PM to make sure I'm awake for when the UPS arrives... if I stay asleep, High risk of someone taking the packages... 'Tis life in South Central Los Angeles.

Yeah I'm glad I live in a good neighborhood, and sometimes my packages goes to my neighbors and they even return it to my doorstep personally. I respect them so they return the favor..

You don't need the plates, but on a DD, you'll wear through tires faster and cornering may or may not perform to your liking (speaking from experience).

Hell, I'd rather run bad camber on a street car with the factory strut mounts than have my camber corrected + suspension held together by dodgy bolts.

BMR camber bolt failure - Just 1st result from Google. If you bother to read but still don't understand the potential danger - have fun running around on borrowed time.

So I took a look at my lower control arms today they are perfectly straight as in parallel they are not curved up or down maybe curve isn't the right word did you not slant they are completely straight does that mean that I only need new lower control arms for improved traction and not the relocation brackets? I apologize for the horrible run on sentence I hurt my arm and cannot type
