Sound differences between exhaust.

Hey all I'm looking to get an axle back exhaust set up on my mustang and I'm looking between roush and borla exhausts. What are the differences in sound between the two, loudness, drone, is one raspier, deeper? Let me know thanks!

Million different answers to this. You'll need to do some serious searching to find the answer. Go to youtube and listen. Its hard to tell from a video but you'll get the idea. Go to AM and read all the customer reviews on the different exhausts.

My answer. The Roush are nice and also popular. They will be loud and you might not like the drone. The Borla's are very popular around here and for a DD might be your best bet. They also have 3 different levels of mufflers.

Go to YouTube and listen to ALL the videos for the setups you are interested in. Check the comments to see if they have other mods that affect sound like headers and x-pipes. Each video will sound slightly different due to recording equipment, background noise, ect. But if you listen to 15 videos of a certain brand you get a general idea of what to expect.

There are a TON of options for us. Listen to the all different setups then narrow it down to a select couple brands. It took me 2-3 months to decide on the Roush . I personally like the crisp sharpness of the tone. But a close 2nd was the magnaflow competition series but in the end they were just a bit too deep sounding.

The borla seemed to have a decent sound but again it wasn't as sharp as I wanted, but a lot of people really like them.
