Muffler deletes

Hello all you stang fans
I have a v6 2014 mustang and i recently took off my borla mufflers and only kept on my mid pipes and it sounds beautiful.
Just one problem I have with doing that is that beause i took off my mufflers my mis pipes are kinda dangling which makes it his my rear bar under where the mid pipe ends. It makes this irritating rattling noise that just throws the whole thing off. Can anyone help me with this?
I can post pictures if needed

Or go to a local exhaust shop and have them build you some straight pipes with hangers that bring the midpipes back out of the rear.

A good way to commit suicide

All of your exhaust is leaching up into your passenger compartment when your sitting at a red light. It's really not a very good idea to not run a pipe out the back. Any muffler shop can do it for you pretty cheap.

I really mean it takes an idiot to not exit the exhaust from under any car.

Got It ????
When the car is sitting at a stop light and the engine is running it is just plain bad. It is just not a smart thing to do. It never has been and never will be.

I get it. Your double negative confused me. I wanted to make sure others understood. I'm well aware.

I never was much good at grammer

I just don't want to see anyone make a terrible blunder by not knowing the danger of what an exhaust can be if not routed properly or leaking under a car.
When I was young and was a volunteer fireman we went to a scene where two young lovers died in a running car that had a leaking exhaust. It is something I can never forget.

That had to have been terrible! My comment wasn't a dig at you. I actually have a real problem with double negatives. I over think them sometimes or misread them. My Uncle also died in a running car when he fell asleep. I'm not sure how the exhaust was run as I was young at the time but I do know the dangers.

I had what I called "Flowmaster muffler deletes" on my Mach 1 when I bought it. Essentially what the previous owner did was to cut the Flowmaster mufflers out and weld in a piece of straight pipe in their place. That way it was exhausting out from under the car and it still had the nice Flowmaster tips out back. Now I don't know if I would recommend you do that because you could easily sell your Borla setup. Although, if you did do it this way, you would have the nice looking Borla tips out back.

If you want that sound back, and want to properly route the exhaust over the axles and out back by the rear bumper cover, buy Roush axle backs. These basically are large shiny coffee cans as the mufflers (??), with chrome tips.

If you know what your doing and have the tools that's all an exhaust kit is; bent pipe and hangers. But I would rather pay 3-5 hundred dollars then spend 50-100 on a diy job and have it look horrible.

Kind of what I did. Cut the inlet off of my OEMs and welded 4" chrome tips in place of the muffler. They look great and are actually not much louder than the OEMs themselves.
