Best mods to stay under warranty

I'm sure there are others trying to stay under warranty too but want to work on their car so just wondering what everyones thoughts are about the best mods that will not violate the warranty.

Technically everything CAN void warranty, but under federal law, unless that part caused the failure, you keep warranty. So mod away responsibly.

If I am not mistaken, ford parts and roush/steeda maintain the warranty but don't quote me on it, I know some manufacturers are 'okay' maybe someone else can clarify.

Only Ford OEM parts retain warranty. Yes, Ford Racing is different than Ford Motor company. Some aftermarket manufacturers offer there own warranty on their parts.

Yeah technically changing tire and wheel size can void a warranty.

Your best bet is to keep it basic bolt on's such as axle back, intake, wheels, shifter, etc. All of those things can be easily removed as well if you were to ever have a serious issue concerning a warranty. I am in the same situation as you so I am avoiding any permanent modifications that require any cutting or welding and keeping it basic bolt on and especially staying away from tunes. Right now I just have an axle back as intakes are useless on these cars and am happy for the time being.

The fact is some dealerships are alright with some mods and some aren't and it is really a big grey area. If your drive train warranty is that important I would keep the mods limited just to be safe or at least go a year or so without messing with it just to make sure there aren't any defects in the drive train.

I want to go with a roush axle-back which i didnt assume would be a big problem. I was just looking for some bolt ons to help gain some torque to make it more competitive with older model gts. Never hurts to have some mods done for a car show too so you have a reason to pop the hood.

You won't have any issues with Steeda.

Our parts don't cause issues when it comes to warranties ... they are designed, engineered & manufactured here in the U.S.A. so we can maintain quality control.

Sometimes, it is best to speak to your dealer & inform them you are looking to add Steeda performance parts & accessories.

Many of the dealers sell Steeda products or Performance Vehicles ... or they are aware of the brand & the quality.

Hope this helps.

Best Regards,

TJ

Here are a few
Wheels and Tires
Hood scoop
Quarter window louvers
Side scoops
Grille
Stripes
Rear wing
Fuel door
Axelbacks

Those should set you back a couple grand for starters.
Have fun and good luck..
