Anyone Using American Racing Longtubes?

Looking for anyone who has them installed on there 11-14 V6. No past experiences on other model years or 5.0s please. That won't help me. Those that do have them can you post up a sound clip. I'm wanting to pick up the ARH LT w/ hi-flow catted H-pipe but if you have the x-pipe instead that would be fine. I've been doing some searching but can't find anything so thought I would ask on here.

I was looking at them too until I found a good deal on some Borla headers. The company is known to have high quality products. Which you're clearly paying for haha. I couldn't find any sound clips either.

Yeah I might just pick them up anyway as they are the only ones making a stainless LT option for our cars. beefcake has them for the cheapest I've found $1364 for headers and H-pipe which isn't bad for a quality set imo.

Maybe my mobile is messing up the link, but doesn't that say it's comes with an Xpipe?

Yep will do. I'll probably do a write up if I do get them.

Oh yea I forgot about those. I ruled them out because they only come with an o/r x-pipe and I want a H-pipe and hi-flow cats. What I like about both Borla & ARH is they don't require O2 extensions which have been a problem for BBK LTs. I know I don't want to go through that hassle.

No what your seeing is right but they offer a H-pipe option also. I've already talked to Beefcake about it. They just only show the x-pipe option. CJ Pony parts is the same way. Here is what they look like with the H-pipe.

I've got Borla longtubes and the driver side does require an extension. At least on the autos they do.

Ah, ok. Can you buy just the H-pipe with highflow cats or do you have to get the LT headers?

I don't know about the Borlas per-se but the BBKs don't "require" extensions. If you route them properly, you can just make it without them. I'm going to take mine off and re-route them because as someone said, they can and do cause issues.

I'm not sure, try sending a email to beefcake Racing to see. The reason I say them is because they have the best prices on ARH stuff that I have found.

Oh ok didn't know that as no one I know doesn't have extensions installed. Also BBK doesn't offer a stainless option.

Hmm...is there no way to route it so you don't need the extension as Joey was implying you can do with the BBKs?

Not that I could see. It's going back up on the lift this week, so I'll probably take another look because I really don't want to use extensions due to all the issues I keep hearing about then having.
