Looks good.

Yeah, I'd take it off the center cap and the lugs. I like the way that looks better, but that's just my humble opinion.

Looks good. Here's mine with the clean center caps but black lug nuts to give you a quick look at how they would be.

very nice, did mine begining of the year, drove 3k plus miles to Boston from San Diego. through dry dessert, rain, even got some snow and ice going through the Rockies on my way to Denver! Held up nicely and have only touched them up once. The slush from the snow really faded them out. Then again i used the matte finish so i think thats just how it look all the time lol

Looks good! I did the same thing about 2 weeks ago. I took the wheels off so I was able to pop the center off before dipping. I would rather have new wheels but these will work just fine for now.

Looks good. I've put about 3K on mine with no issues. I removed mine when I coated them so lug nuts and center cap are without.

So I'm pretty sure if I hit it with regular gloss black paint it should still peel off I think that's what I'm gonna do

I woud test that theory somewhere else first. Also - you said you used one can and did this on break at work? You should have put 4-5 coats on if you want to peel it easily. 4-5 coats with dry time between them. I used almost four full cans to do my wheels. I bet with only one can spread out on four wheels, it will be hard to peel, and I sure wouldn't add regular paint (which may break down the plastidip) to that.

ID:	167224 here's mine decided to try a new color. I had the black plasti-dip as a base coat and then out copper metalizer over it, I kinda like it as it's something different.

Not bad. Bet it would look much better with darker tires.

I may have to give this a shot on my rims. I'd love to have new ones but that's not in the budget. Plus I like the fact that it peals off. Thanks for the thread!

The wheel seems to have a bit of a sheen to it. Is that the standard black matte finish.
Looks good!!!

I dipped mine about a year ago and they are pretty resistant (hit curb twice didn't peel off). Click image for larger version

ID:	167348 I used almost 3 cans too. It was my first time using plastidip and it was pretty straight forward.

I liked the color scheme but the stock wheels are too small. Last week a bought a set of track pack wheels and put those on and dipped the stripes black. It's really easy to use with the flexibility to change at any moment.

Btw, thanks for the compliments!

There are other types of peel off paint spray but Plasti-Dip is specific to one company...like Q-tip or Kleanex.
