Super Six Motorsports

Do any of our 3.7 owners on here purchased the high performance cams for our 3.7 from Super Six Motorsports. It appears they are the only company that makes performance larger cams for our 3.7 and was wondering if the $ 1,475 per set was worth the power hp and torque gains.

I am just throwing the idea around at keeping my 3.7 completely N/A and was wondering if these performance cams were worth the money for the extra power you get. I also was looking for a much more aggressive louder idle when sitting at a traffic light and you can here those bigger cams rumble. Is this the case with these performance cams for our 3.7?

Will these performance cams really help with torque gains for that low down power or not really. I understand our 3.7 is not a V8 but that doesn't mean the 3.7 can't sound bad ***.

You'd probably need forged internals with that cam, no? Only assuming.

You may be correct and I'm not sure. Does those performance cams make so much power that the factory engine couldn't handle it?

They can probably handle it. According to a couple posts on here I've read, the engine can handle a turbo or a supercharger without forged internals. I was just suggesting it. I can't imagine that bigger cam makes more power than a turbo.

I wonder if the $1400 is worth the cams for the power HP and torque one gets?,

I'd wait to see what becomes of the NA cams that have been made already for our cars paid for by cyclones mustang club and the community. The cams have already been made, everyone is just waiting for them to be installed, tested and dyno'd by the guy who has them.

Are you referring to the group on fast ford mustangs. If so great group of members (I'm a member on that site) but thought they were looking for funding to develop them.
