2013 V6 exhaust

What is the best exhaust(in your opinion) for the 2013 3.7? I'm looking for something a little louder and deeper than stock.

Dynomax Ultraflo catback sounds really nice with stock mid pipe. Gets extremely loud and raspy with off road mid pipe. I have a video on you tube with stock mid. Look up my account ponie1992

Can of worms opened!

Exhaust is a very personal thing. For example I LOVE my Roush axle backs, but for some people it's way too loud and raspy.

There is no real "best", it's all in the sound you want and performance goals.

You'll have long tube vs short tube headers, X vs H pipes, catted vs no cat.

What specifically do you want out of your car? What is your budget? That will help people narrow it down for you.

If you want a little deeper and a little louder, Short tube headers and Borla Touring.

Keep in mind, something I really haven't read in the many threads on exhaust, that the louder you go the less likely your Sync, if you have it, will work.

I have Borla Touring axel backs. They are just right for me. Deep, aggressive sound and I don't piss my neighbors off. I recently emailed Borla about exhaust modifications. I was told that my warranty could be voided (it wasn't specified what or why) and that cabin drone are possible. So, if you plan to add to mufflers I'd email your manufacturer and ask their opinion. Exhaust is expensive. It's worth the extra time to research.

Yeah pretty much anything other than OEM parts can void warranty. The good thing is that unless its proven to be the reason why something is wrong with your car then you are still covered by the warranty and axleback exhaust really shouldn't cause any problems to the car compared to bolt ons in the engine bay or drivetrain. I'd say no reason to worry about the mufflers being an issue with the warranty.

One thing to keep in mind is the possibility of you having hearing issues overtime. When I got my flowmasters it was loud the first week. Then for some reason it doesn't sound like it used to be but every time I ask my wife about it she says it's still loud and she only gets in my car weekly so yeah just my opinion.

Thank you for all the feedback! I wanted to go with just some axel back exhaust, I'm not looking to change all my pipes just yet. Something under $500 at the most cheaper would be better but I don't want anything too cheap that will mess up.

For under 500 you could go and get GT500 A/B from a 11 or 12 and have them modified to fit by cutting your inlet pipes off and having them welded on the GT500's.

2013 V6 exhaust

Pypes has a setup for under $500. It'll be loud.
My Roush was $489+$80 install(a bit on the high end for install).

I've heard that pypes are tough to fit on the 13-14 v6. Just a lot of negative feedback in the review section on AM about the fit.

If you can, listen to it IN PERSON first. Youtube can't truly capture the full experience. I had a general idea before I got my Roush, I was not prepared. It's pretty intense but I love it, I can easily see how people don't like it.

Look at my for sale thread. I have a Mac axle back. It's a great sounding set up and the price is right.

I heard the mac axleback has rust issues on the tips. Have you had any problems with this? No one around here has any on their ride and i can't find more than a couple exhaust clips of it but i was kind of interested in them too.

I have Bassani's and like them, but a touch of drone at certain rpms under load. It seems worse if you have an auto. I describe it as European that gets fierce at WOT.

Socal, so rust in Southern Cali ain't an issue? jk

I chose mine cause I got a good price on local used.....the guy is interested in them back but no dice
