Thoughts on Shifteck shifter?

Anyone have any experience with these.

Yeah I believe they are the same, judging by the pics. Seems like a killer deal if it's a decent shifter.

Shifteck makes the SR performance shifter for American Muscle. I picked one up on ebay a few weeks ago for my car and it's been great.

They are ok. Not as good as steeda, Hurst, or ford racing. But it is ok.

The spring is a certain length but the drilled holes for the attachment screw does not allow for alot of play in the spring. I had to add spacers to my spring then push the shifter down and attach it. It still did not engage the reverse lockout well. It could be easily lucked past it. The lock out is also in contact with the shifter metal alot and it causes gouging and flakes of steel to be all over the shifter under the boot. Just not as high quality material as the others, but it does work, is a short throw, and aligns shifts a little better. My Hurst is a much more advanced set up and is flawless.
