Look at what my co-worker just dropped off

There she is in all her glory. I picked her up from a co-worker who bought a tuner kit in June and decided to sell before he installed it. Got a stupid price on it (under 4k) just couldn't pass it up. Now the wait for install begins.

Well I have a set of Mac shorties ,lethal performance o/r x pipe and bbk throttle body. I plan on getting it dynoed tuned in December then when time comes to change out the belt I'll swap in a smaller pulley and shoot for 450rwhp. Should be a fun car with my 3.73 gears(mt82)

Nice. You need that baby dyno tuned immediately upon installation. Don't drive it/start it without a Procharger tune or your engine will flood/blow up/something bad.

I was going to call LPF to put a deposit on a turbo kit that afternoon but just couldn't pass up a tuner kit for almost half price

Already ahead of you, I have a set of nitto 555r 305/45/18 drag radials in the garage just waiting to get mounted. I haven't decided on what type or brand lower control arms I'll use.

Sweet!
I highly suggest BMR. Top of the line stuff and won't break the bank.

Everything BMR makes is stellar. I've bought 2 full sets for my 5.0 and my GFs v6. Granted there are several good brands, whiteline, BMR, its just going to be what you prefer at the end of the day, but i'm happy enough with mine to feel the need to preach it.

Ok so BMR lower control arms, what about a upper control arm is it needed? I have no plans on lowering car as I find the stock front wheel well gap is perfect and the rear gap I have now should get smaller after I mount my 305/45/18 tire.

I want as much traction as possible. My goal is to run high 11s 1/4 I researched for a while and found that most procharged cars run mid/high 12s while some n/a 3.7 are breaking 12.8-12.6 with good launches one would think a good launch and a procharger would net 11s so my guess is traction is the key.

I will go BMR for almost all of my suspension, other than Eibach for sway bars and such. However, I really like Whiteline's upper control arm, easy to adjust, quality piece and built in bracket which is important.

But is the adjustability needed at stock height/non lowered car?

Not for stock height, but if you plan to lower the car later, it certainly won't hurt to have options if you need to change the angle. Do it once and do it right.

Gotcha, anything else needed for max traction/launching on street/strip? I was thinking about some strange drag 10 ways but not sure how well they would work on a DD

Maybe some rear drags. But you won't know until you launch it a few times at the track. Try the new tires with the control arms and see how it feels and then make adjustments of necessary is my advice

At your 450 ish to the wheels goal, I think the Nittos should be just fine if you get the control arms. 475+ I'd probably say start looking at a true drag radial.

Back in the day I had a 03 cobra that put down 451/442 to the wheels and the 315/35/17 nt555r I used hooked good on the street so I know with my procharger and maby at best 330-360rwlb-ft they will perform well

I was also going to use the money I saved on this kit to purchase a forged rotating assembly but from what I read it take a long time to receive them from MMR.
