Boss 302 mufflers

So i have the opportunity to pick up some 2012 boss 302 mufflers for really cheap so i was wondering if i could put them on my 2014 v6. I've heard of people putting gt500 mufflers on their v6 but i want to make sure that the boss and gt mufflers arent the same. I know the boss has a different exhaust set up but i just wasnt sure if the mufflers were the same on the gt and if they are is it still worth putting on my car?

They're slightly different. That being said the connector pipes on the Boss are going to be 2.75" whereas your stock catback pipes are 2.25". So you'll need a pipe adapters likely. Plus you may lose some backpressure.

Would it still be worth it? The guy wants a quick sell so hes got them for $50 with pics of them in good condition. I'm not sure if anyone has done this so i dont know how it would sound or how much installation would cost

For $50 it wouldn't be too bad if it didn't work out. As for sound, I don't really know. The inatallation wouldn't be too bad, just need adapters.

I did some looking around on other forums and found that people beleived the boss mufflers were about the same as the gt since they didnt need to be louder because of the way the boss exhaust is set up. Looks like i'll probably save my $50 and put it towards something better
