I like one that flows. But of course, training with it can develop that. I'd sooner install one under the seat, or on the right side of the console.

Ronnie, do you get anything for referring someone? If there is a prize or you get some credit, let me know and I will be a referral for you. I have been meaning to sign up.

When transporting firearms the weapon and the ammunition must be separated by lock and key... Meaning if the gun is in the car, the ammunition must be locked in the glove box or the trunk.
Lol at what point in time did I say I was scared?? So bc I carry off duty, just like 98% of law enforcement, I'm scared and need a new career. Negative fella, I'm prepared. You would want to protect yourself and family if you were in my shoes.

As far as Cali. I could never live in a liberal state. This country is going to **** way too fast. This country was built behind guns and being able to protect yourself. It's mind boggling that we have states that won't let you have a loaded gun in your own vehicle...

Bad idea storing a gun in a car and anyone who decides to break into the car has in essence now armed themselves. Just have a cc permit and carry on your person.

Agreed, I prefer to keep firearms on my person and not in a vehicle.

Haha, everyone here is armed already. And as stated, I cannot get my permit for 8-10 months due to residency requirements. Therefore I'm either leaving one in the car, or carrying one to/from the car every trip. Once properly stored, it will be out of sight.

Great topic

When I am in the mustang I carry the Sig 238 or the little Taurus TCP. No its not a 1911 but the key is surprise when you need it.

I am a SC CCW holder and we have to have the weapon on and concealed or inside the glove box.

Be safe

I'm not sure why I didn't think of this, but the covered cup holder is perfect, and a good excuse to buy the XDs 45 I have been eyeing. No drinks allowed in the car, and on exception it would fit by the parking brake like pictured earlier.

Love my XDs - fits in the cup holder, the draw is not too easy, but it is easily accessible.

Well what do you know ... It turns out that the most conservative states with the loosest gun laws have higher proportions of people being killed by guns ... What a surprise!

Not to get this thread too off track ... Mustangs are the best!

Maybe that's a good thing, it's possible that more criminals are being killed every year by law abiding citizens and or law enforcement agents. Nothing wrong with that. And maybe this graph is seven years old and not really relevant anymore that and bias considering it's based on population. But yes mustangs are the best no argument there

Interesting theory ... except more children die from firearm deaths in conservative states where gun laws are looser ... certainly these children aren't criminals being killed every year? See the study below -

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11834986

And the map shows that PROPORTIONALLY more people die from firearm deaths in conservative states with less gun control, so it does take into account population.

Long live Mustangs!

And actually even the I love though USA we do have more firearm deaths than any other developed country including Canada, since you bring them up.

That isn't completely true, the rates. Ohio has some of the best gun laws for owners, yet Illinois, the worst second only to California, is worse. I think there may be more to it.

I don't mean to throw this argument off but it goes with the topic. Does anyone know how I can make one of them fancy mustang killing machines like in Death Race?
I mean, you may beat me in a drag race but what about in a death race?

I love guns and mustangs, why not combine the two??

What about all the other types of death, far more people die from car accidents, smoking, and falling every year then being shot. Everything in perspective and considering our 2nd ammendment rights you can throw as many statistics and studies you want at it there will always be guns and people will always kill each other with them.

I'm not debating your stats, but I'm now understanding why some feel the need to carry a gun with them at almost all times including in their cars. There are millions of guns in the U.S, most that are responsible owners, and some that are not, hence those responsible owners feel the need to carry to protect themselves from those who are not. IMO its a crazy way to live having to carry a gun in your car while driving your kids to soccer practice or groceries etc for protection, I don't agree with it, but I guess that's the reality of it.

I think rather than making this a gun rights debate, we should stay on topic of where us law abiding citizens conceal our legal firearms.

Save the debate for another thread. You're not going to change anyone's mind.

Agreed. I saw someone posting in this thread that everyone should join the NRA so I felt the need to interject.

Let's keep this to something we can all agree on ... Mustangs>camaros

I have a under the dash holster. It's moved to my person before leaving the vehicle. If I'm going to a place it's prohibitted it goes into a lock box under the seat. Best I could do with the Stang.
