3.7L V6 Detailed Information

After looking into some things I came across this page, it has more information about our V6 Mustangs than I've ever seen in one place. Thought it might be helpful to pass along. (They also have some other useful guides on the site such as how to change your spark plugs):

Why does it say 5 quarts for oil capacity? I always use 6, thats what the manual says.

Some sites say 5 and some 6. Was very confusing at first haha.

Sweet website though, thanks

Maybe the difference would be between rebuilding a engine (6 quarts) and no oil left in it versus doing a regular oil change (5 quarts).

Nah, changing it is 6. I do all my own oil changes. From a drain, 6 will get you perfectly in the middle of the indicators on the dipstick.

To be fair, if you've got the coin for twin turbos, some extra oil isn't going to break the bank lol
