Airaid weather strip?!?!

I am supposed to by a airaid intake today but it is missing the weather stripping. I understand what it is for but is it effective. If so is there anything I can use to replace the missing weather stripping? Don't want to let it go if it's a good deal but also don't want to waste my money. Any advice?!

I would try some self stick closed cell window insulation. Remember the majority say any CAI is not for HP it's for sound. I have an Airaid and bought it for sound alone (used) I also think if ya need/want Airaid will sell you new stripping.

Hint: place a rag over the lower inlet snorkle when working on them to prevent dropped screws/sockets from dissapearing!!!

It should just be rubber weatherstripping. Any parts/ hardware store should sell it in rolls. Just measure cut and install.

This is what I had done when I had this same issue.
