Ya, Im closer to 230 in weight and just a notch below a full tank...my tire size is 245/45 18 so that might make a difference...that damn bump! LOL i drove the road both ways before doing the log and i swear i was far enough away from it lol, plus it was pretty chilly about 50-55* out last night.

I did just what i said in my post and it seemed to have worked. I started at the far right hand side with MPH and just renamed the column "Vehicle Speed MPH." Still unhappy. Moved on to Throttle angle absolute and renamed it "Throttle angle" With no absolute or special characters and it took the look just as it was, extra columns and all. What SCT device are you using?

Thats what I was missing. I kept the ABSOLUTE in the throttle angle colum and deleted all the other colums...SCT X3...the OG gameboy model lol

I wonder if there is a way to edit out the "bump" from the data...

Hmm i am using an X3 too, must be an auto vs manual thing... at any rate, unfortunately there isnt, because that bump was real time data; changes in rpm / mph and time were all effected, and all are needed to calculate WHP.
It took me a while to find a good road near the house to do logs on, but another thing is that using the same road on each log allows you to better compare your results to each other as well.

Im thinking i will use a highway...late night pull off onto the shoulder then when its crystal clear and no cars do a slow start in 2nd to get it going then get 3rd and punch it to redline. I did stop at 6100-6200rpm...could have gone to 6800

I have used this a couple times, it's hard to find a perfectly smooth road.

Volt, I noticed in the graph you used in mine that you had the smoothness adjusted to 3 and powerwheels here has his at 6. does it make a difference or does it adj on its own?

Smoothing will effect the numbers to an extent, basically it adjusts any minute "hills and valleys" in the graph. Typically with a smooth graph the changes will be marginal though, 1-2 whp, but i personally have never messed with it.
What is important however, is that everyone is using the same correction factor. That graph looks good Powerwhee

Here is one on a smoother road, and all the way to 7500. I just keep the smoothin up on 6 cause it seems to give the most realistic numbers.

I have a MPT 91 Tune, Ported upper and lower manifold, bbk shorty headers, and a jlt intake. Thats it, oh and 4.10 gears but those wont affect the numbers.

Im not so much interested in peak numbers. I like to see the power band, and its nice to see how linear it is and how power holds all the way to 7500.

Ran this a few hours ago. So no adjustments made and it shows 299hp and 273tq. I have 19 inch rims with 255/55/19, 3.31 gears, and I weigh 240lbs.

So what settings do I need and what sensors should I turn on to get the best graph?

Pretty close to my set up. Manual, 245/45 18 tires, 3.31 gears and I too weigh around 240.

I just used a datalog that MPT made me do. That should have all the PID in it needed. The size of the wheel only effects the tire diameter in the software, so change that to whatever you tire diameter is and you should be good to go.

Just make sure the road your on is smooth.

I got 387 rwhp before cause the road was slightly inclined.

The 295rwhp and 285 rwtq seem pretty close to my actual numbers given my 1/4 time of 13.5@105.69 with a 2.1 60"

I'd basically just make sure all the information in the chart on the right hand side matches yours: Input your occupancy weight, gears, tire height ... and maybe adjust the smoothing since a dyno graph will never be perfectly smooth.

I have 255 by 55 tires on 19 inch rims which comes to 30.04. I have an 80mm tb, intake tube and steeda 4" maf and filter. Shorty ceramic headers and an mpt 93 tune that just came back after being adjusted for the mods.

Thats a big *** tire haha, easily costing you some power, so i wouldnt be upset with those numbers at all. You basically added like 2" in tire height over stock, which is like adding a ton of gear, probably closer to like a 3.20 / 3.15 at this point. I wouldnt be upset at all.

Hey volt sent you an email with my datalog, me and Fintile went for a ride and was wondering if you could tell me some numbers from vd.. We did some 0-60 times with both of us on the car with combined weight of 430 the car pulls pretty good and got a time of 5.2 sec with auto.

MPT TUNE, Borla S-Type, Airaid Cai, Ford racing X pipe, Mac ceramic shorty headers, 2010 GT500 rims, 35% tint, Sr Springs, J&M phb, camber bolts, blacked out side markers, front and taillights.

Also to add to this, we tried several different ways and could NOT get the program to show us a graph. It loads, assks for info. We input the cars weight, our combined weight and tire size. when we try to load a CAR in the drop down it gives us an error, asks to continue or close program. Its very odd.

All the colums are the way they should be as well. (Time, Vehicle Speed, Throttle Position, RPM)

Now that is strange... must have been a hiccup in the program itself, i was able to load your log 100% as you sent it to me. Since This platform has just recently started to really utilize this program its possible we're still working out some growing pains. Looks like you wont went WOT to about 5k though. The graph does look a little funny considering it looks like HP has flat lined already, but i meant, every once in a while you just get a goofy log you know.

Thanks volt.. I stopped at around 5000 rpm since we're merging into the interstate. Didn't red line it but I do have a log of my 0-60 in 5.2 sec. And it went to 7200 rpm. Do you want me to send those? By the way what number did I get with this graph? I tried looking at the graph but it was blurry.

Thats not too bad...trq is really high though. Might need to try a run from 2k till redline properly. Not sure if you got the data right onthe tires but he has 255/45 18.

Did you happen to get my last log? I tried a 2nd one the other day i forgot to add my weight and tire size when i emailed you (245/45 18 and 230)

Wonder if its different
