Lowering the correct way

What does it take to lower the mustang correctly? I'm looking into the koni Orange and eibach sportline springs. I've read and have been vastly confused on the struts and mounts. For a 11-14 strut, do I need the stock v6 mount or the 11-14 gt500 mount.

But the correct way I've heard is 05-09 strut, with the 11-14 gt500 mount. What else is needed? Bump steer? CC plates? I daily drive the car btw, 2011 v6 premium, 101,000 miles.

Pan hard bar. CC plates would be a good idea as well.

If you're doing the GT500 mount, you'll need an 05-09 strut. If you keep your mounts or go CC plates, you can get an 11-14 strut. Some like the J&M plates I bought have adapters for both.

CC plates then. Replace the crap mounts and have the luxury of adjustability.

Gt500 mount is beefier and stronger but has a different thread length, thus the need for the 05-09 strut.
