Fog Lights

Good morning guys. I wanted to install upper fog lights on my 2014 v6. I'm just having a hard time finding exactly what I'll need besides the grille for the gt and lights. I did like the look of the smoked cffl halo lights and i knew that instant i wanted them on my car lol. Is there a specific wiring kit or anything like that I'll need?

I'm even thinking of either going to a junkyard to see if i can get the wiring of a gt if they have one or using the wires of the smaller fog lights that my car currently has on the bottom front bumper. I just don't know if this will work.

Thanks for any replies

DO NOT BUY ANOTHER WIRING HARNESS! YOU DO NOT NEED IT!!

They sell an adapter for your bottom fog wiring to connect to the GT fogs
I believe it's starkly? Or something along those lines. I'll give you the name and website I got mine from. All you need is the GT grille and fogs.

I don't have any pictures and I'm at work so I can't take any at the moment but installation was pretty simple. Hardest part is probably getting the guts to take off the front bumper lol. It's not hard to take it off. YouTube has plenty of helpful videos on how to remove it. As for the installation of the fogs, you just remove the current grille and snap on the GT grille and screw in the fogs. As for the adapter, you just snap one end to the GT fogs and the other to the existing fogs on your v6. Simple as that.

Fog Lights

Mine didn't. It just came in the a sealed bag. The instructions should be on the website if needed!

To be honest, taking off the bumper isn't as bad as it sounds. Just don't misplace the screws since there's quite a few. It's just scary, not hard lol

If your v6 did not come with fog lights at the bottom then you'll need to buy the harness for the grille fogs. And wire it up yourself.

I bought OEMs from someone here on the forums around last month or so. It should still be the same fog connector though.

Yes, there is a difference. On our v6 fogs, we have H11. This is what you will need.

You have to have brackets for the fog lights.

If you buy the halo lights, it should come with the bulbs and needed hardware already.

I didn't even know about mounting brackets. I didn't use any. All I used were the screws that holds the lights

Ahh, ok, I get you! I was unaware that Raxiom didn't come with the brackets. As for that, I'm not sure where you'd need to get them.

The brackets are on the back of the fog lights. The three black things that stick out around the lights are the brackets. If you look at the Raxiom they do not have brackets.

So basically the actual LED assembly screws into the Raxiom fog lamp lens. Then the LED assembly has the three posts that attach to the grille and then are screwed into the grille. Look at the installation instructions posted at the AM web site.
