Mounting amp to rear seat

I have seen posts of older model mustangs with amplifiers screwed into the rear seats. I would like to do the same thing to mine, but don't know what hardware to go with or how to go about doing it.

What material is behind the carpeting for the rear seats? It feels like plastic but i can't really tell.

Can i use self tapping wood screws for it? Pilot hole first? (I'm not very educated with power tools at all)

Also, are there any wires that i could accidentally drill through. (I assume there are no airbag sensors since they would be on the bottom of the seat)

On a side note, what size torx bit is the bolt shown in the picture (the silver one)? I will be using it for a ground but don't want to buy a whole set of bits to take out one bolt.

Any help or knowledge would be much appreciated.

Cool. So it looks like I can use some self tapping screws on the rear seats.

I want to say I ran the wire under one of my screws connecting the seat to the body of the car but I'm not 100% on it

Mines grounded to the frame. Through the rubber cap by the fuel pump. Ran down to the frame.

I just grounded mine to the stud in the middle of the black bar (in picture above) because the ring terminal wouldn't fit under the metal bolt. Do you think this is ok?

I just mounted my amp to the subwoofer box, keeps it out of they way if you ever need to put something through the trunk and back seats
