Has anyone tried plain sct tunes?

On anything auto I can get an sct x4 tuner for 340 with discount or I can get the same thing with the lifetime bama tunes for 376 with discount. I was wondering if anyone has tried the tunes on the regular sct x4? Is it worth spending the extra money for bama?

Stock SCT tunes are junk. They're like the generic brand canned food. They work, but don't expect quality. Now my vote would be MPT (they sell tuner packages as well), but if your choice is between SCT base or Bama, I'd say Bama. Especially if you plan on adding upgrades that require a new tune.
