Need info about resonators

Can someone give me a way to go here. I have a stock exhaust set up besides my Roush Axle backs. I like the appearance of them mufflers and the volume of them but the sound is hit or miss for me. I kind of get embarrassed by how raspy my exhaust note is and I hear resonators are the way to clean this up.

Can someone please provide a link to where I can purchase a good pair. Thank you very much!

Summitracing.com or jegs. Vibrant is a good brand. You'll want 2.25" inlet/outlet if you have stock over axle pipes.

Don't get anything bigger than a 2.5 or 3" case diameter. As for the length, it's up to you how big you want to go and how much volume/rasp you're wanting to get rid of.

Generally 20-22" long are good. 18 if you just want a bit of it gone. As for placement, you'll want them welded behind your midpipe.

Those are a 3.5" case length with a 2" core. Probably good acoustic dampening but that thick of a case you might run into fitment issues and rattling. 3" would be the biggest case diameter I'd recommend.

My question is how much will these resonators quiet them down? I love the sound up through 2,500 rpm then it gets buzzy unless I wot.

Depends on the construction, diameter and length. Generally the longer ones lead to less raspiness. They will affect the volume slightly as well.
