Bumper plugs?

Moved from a 2 plate state to a 1 plate state and I want to remove the front bracket. Are the plugs from bumperplugs.com worth the $28? Any tips on installing these?

I ordered some of these from eBay for my front bumper. I figure there's no hiding it, even with bumper plugs, might as well get something that will match the rest of the front end.

I like them. These will be installed when I put in my Roush upper/lower grilles since they will require getting behind the bumper. My dealer also managed to make the holes at an angle instead of straight on, so I will have to drill them out a bit. Overall, I think they will look great.

Until I get my Roush grilles, I talked to a sticker maker on Etsy. She is gonna cut some white vinyl 1" circles that have a 1/16" layer of polyurethane resin over the top. Those will just be stuck on the front. I may end up liking them more but I should have plenty of extras so once I get pics, if you have a white car hit me up!

My opinion, those plugs look worse than the license plate. Glad I live in a single plate state.

Black car but thank you.

I still have the bracket on. I have a trip to the dealer planned for tomorrow, I'll send if the have anything. If not I'll order up the plugs from bumperplugs.com.

You could also use small plugs. I had two different year Camaros that had front plate holders screwed through the urethane. I removed the flared edges of the screw holes and used small body plugs to cover the hole. Granted, on one car, the area is black, so the holes are less noticeable, but they didn't look bad on a white car either.

Agreed, the black plastic makes them pop out on a white car. Don't they sell them in all white?

When I bought my car the dealer had already drilled holes for a front plate but my state does not require it. I wound up covering over them with stripes instead so that's always an option lol.

I considered the stripes, lol. The bolts I got aren't plastic, they're aluminum. I got a set of four so I may paint one pair with the small bottle of touch up paint I got from Advance Auto.

My white domed decals should ship Monday so it all may be for nothing if those end up looking good.

Were they supposed to take a long time? Mine came in less than a week.

I want able to drill the right size as I had to leave for work but even with the unplugged holes this looks MUCH better.
