Eliminating rasp without resonator swap

Title says it all, I would like to know if theres a way to eliminate the rasp of my Roush Axle back system without welding because I am not yet sure if I will be changing other piping down the road and I would rather something more diy.

This guy and I can speak from experience. It's annoying and sounds like a fart can unless you go with an off road mid pipe. I have an off road pro chamber, and flow master 40 series mufflers, raspy as piss. Borla would be your best bet to eliminate it. I too don't believe in resonators.

The original... Boss 227!

will headers require a tune? I know long tubes do for sure but shorties yes or no?

Shorties do not REQUIRE a tune, but it's still recommended for the most performance gains.
