Wait so you want to put the 306 in the '14?

Why in the hell would you want to do that?

Turbocharge your current motor and make more power, while being lighter and making better mpg

If you really want 400 horsepower why not just buy a GT in the first place?

306 to a 14' V6?

390 horsepower is a lot easier to get out of your V6, you would really only be doing that swap for sound. I would just use that 88 and fix that up and keep the motor inside of it

Better yet get a ghost cam tune for your car, will sound the same.

Perhaps for the different and unique factor of a 400 rwhp V6 mustang vs a dime a dozen 400 rwhp 5.0. But I agree, if someone knows from jump prior to buying a mustang their goal is to have 400 rwhp and don't care about having something more unique, just buy the 5.0.

Based on me owning my 2011 and all paid off and the money spent into making it how I like , it's far more cost effective to spend 6k too supercharge my 3.7 and make 440 rwhp over selling my V6 taking a butt rapping loss and having to finance a good 10 plus k for a 5.0 to have 370 rwhp.

Get the Procharger-Supercharer for your V6..... Then you'll have well over 400 HP.....probably a few more bucks but a lot less headaches.

Find a 2010 V6 to swap it into? That would make a lot more sense...And good luck if there is emissions testing where you live.

Do you plan on having the 306 fuel injected or carb?

And what is done to this 306 to lay down 400 to the rear tire?

Putting an older engine into a newer vehicle is a huge emissions no-no. If you were doing a track only car that would be trailered, then it would be fine. But the risk of having the car crushed if anyone figured it out is more than enough reason to not do it.

Personally I would sell the 306 and put it towards mods on a v6 or put it towards a trade for a GT.
