MGW's new race spec MT-82 shifter

MGW guys are going to unveil a new shifter may this or the following week for our MT-82 transmissions. From the pictures I've attached, I wonder if it completely replaces our remote shifter? Much like what the blowfish shifter bracket does to bolt it to our transmission. It is priced at $487 and if you already have a MGW, you can send it back to get the new one for $287.

That's interesting, it looks like it would go a long way on alignment with out the blowfish vibration.

That's what I'm thinking. This new MGW together with royal purple transmission fluid, and ss clutch lines should take care of 90% problems we have with our MT-82 transmissions

Go on their Facebook site. The workmanship and the strength of the unit is amazing. They lift the whole trans by the shifter in the video. It really is a must have setup. MGW site probably has the video as well

When called MGW...

I read this a while back about the swap out offer for the original customers.
When I asked the sales person they told me they never heard of that kind of offer.

Did I need a secret password or hand shake? OR was this only for a short time?

I don't think that was a thing beyond maybe the very first run.

What is the thing in the picture? It is definitely not a race spec. Is this something before the race spec was produced, or after?

It definitely is the race spec. It's the first design they made and sold.

I thought race spec is transmission mounted and doesn't have the rear end shifter bracket.
