Just bought new wheels 4 Christmas!

Hey guys! Its been awhile. I've been pretty busy with real life but I should be on here a lot more once finals are over.
I am extremely excited to tell y'all that I just bought new wheels for Christmas!!!!
I went with staggered Niche Targas in Anthracite, 19x8.5 on the front, 19x9.5 on the back.
Tires are Sumitomo HTR Z III ultra performance
I can't wait to get my hands on them and see them on my car.
The Niches are a little different, leaning more towards import then the classic bullit muscle car wheels, but I really think they will look great. Anthracite should look awesome on the grabber blue!
Let me know what you guys think!

The one thing I will say about 19s (I have 19s on my summer set as well) be prepared to have a hard time finding replacement tires if you need them locally. They're also typically more expensive than 18s or 20s. But for me 18s were a little small and 20s just look a bit goofy to me.

I love the Milans
Joey I agree. They are just too big for me, they look a little cartoonish. You can get away with it if you have a dark or white car IMO, but colored cars it really stands out.
I was also worried about tire rub since my car is dropped

I had rub with my 19s at full lock. Grab the Roush steering stops. Rubbing is completely gone. They're easy to install except cutting the stock Oetiker clamps. Those are a bear.

Strange. I didn't need different ones. I'd check what size and thread you need. Then I'd recommend the Gorilla lug nuts from Summit racing. I got all 20 as locking ones. Just in case anyone wants to get froggy with my wheels lol

Did you ever manage to get rid of those disgusting stock 17" wheels? I wouldn't wish those on anyone lol.

Keep at least 1 set of those stock rims for going out of town. No sense in burning up nice tires on the motorway, i keep a set in storage ... you'd probably have a hard time trying to sell them though lol.

And yeah, i wish i would have known that 19s were expensive before i bought my rims in 19" -_- oh well, "next time." Congrats on the wheels though.

True that. I'll keep the stock ones since no one wants them and sell the GT's with Pirellis for a few hundred super cheap
I may not change wheels until the spring though winters in NY can be very crappy

Yeah definitely don't subject brand new ones to a northeast winter lol. Salt up there is legendary.

$110 per wheel or $400 for the set. Decent amount of tread left on the Pirellis no fraying or signs of wear etc. 3 wheels perfect 1 has 1 tiny mark on the edge can't notice it . They're actually pretty nice looking wheels

Oh yeah! I wanna see them on my car too ! I just didn't know I have to buy 4 TPMS sensors with a TPMS tool for $200+ from AM..... So I gotta order that. I didn't do that when I originally switched wheels maybe I don't have to do it... Any ideas??

Just bought new wheels 4 Christmas!

Well you switched to another set of rims that had tpms already installed.

If you take the sensors out of another set and put them in your new set you'll be fine.

So I can take them from my stock rims and from the GT stock rims? So I have 2 sets already? Sorry I'm not used to TPMS had never heard of it before. Dumb question lol. Not having to spend another $200 is nice

Haha they look the same but those are Velgens. I don't have the kinda $ for those
They're ever so slightly different but basically the same exact thing just not the Velgen name. Niche is a quality wheel company, they're still expensive enough as it is lol

Heh... mine are probably knock-offs of the Niche's. However, since mine are built specifically for the Mustang application, I am able to go wider (10.5 instead of 9.5) with the correct offset.

Velgens are top quality!!!! They're more expensive than Niche. Set of Niche w tires in 20s runs you about 2300-2500 and velgens are around 3k I last time I looked

I meant more knockoff on style since the Niches have been out longer.

If you shop around you may be surprised what you can find. I got the Velgens for $1500 shipped. Hankook v12s were $800 mounted. So, $2300 for everything.
